Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Cook is famous for her performance as Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she is a supervisory agent. The series began in 2005 and ran for thirteen seasons. Cook was born in Oshawa in Ontario, Canada's province and showed early signs of attraction to acting. The beginning of her acting career came with her role as an TV guest in Goosebumps. Her film debut was the dramatic The Virgin Suicides, released in 1999. It wasn't a major movie. Following the film, she began to appear in the American Canadian drama Higher Ground as one of its main characters.
